We’ve had a note from Rachel at Pagan Pathways in Sheffield.
As you may already be aware, Jane Meredith will be hosting a workshop at Airy Fairy in Sheffield on 17-18 September. It’s aimed at women and is entitled ‘Tasting The Pomegranate‘, and centres on Persephone’s journey into the Underworld. Some of you might already have a place on that one: it is pretty much fully booked now, but if you do still want to go, you can contact Rachel who’ll be able to advise you.
Jane, a writer, ritualist and Priestess of the Goddess, hailing from Australia, will also be hosting an evening talk on Thursday 15 September entitled ‘Walking With The Goddess’:
“What happens in our lives when we invoke the Goddess? What do we learn about ourselves, and about the Goddess we’ve invoked – be it Aphrodite (Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty), Persephone (Queen of the Underworld), Kali (the ferocious Indian Goddess) or Inanna (Goddess of Heaven and Earth from ancient Sumer)? Learn how to create a relationship with the Goddess and discover your own capacity for connecting with different aspects of the divine feminine through their stories.
Jane Meredith, author of ‘Aphrodite’s Magic: Celebrate and Heal Your Sexuality’ and ‘Journey to the Dark Goddess ‘ (forthcoming) will speak of her personal experiences with different Goddesses. The evening will include experiential aspects and time for questions. ”
So, if you think you’d like to attend the Thursday evening talk, please get in touch with Rachel HERE and let her know.
Our thanks to Pagan Pathways for passing this on to us!
