Religion and Belief in Law

I’ve been sent a link to a solicitor’s website which, I believe (having looked at it briefly when I got the email), dealt with the “law on religion and belief”. Unfortunately, the page has now disappeared – the URI just says “this page is being updated”.

I’ll keep an eye on it, and if it returns I’ll post it up.

In the meantime, you can find the ACAS* guidelines on religion and belief in the workplace HERE. Note this is a PDF file, so you’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader or some similar plugin to read it. If you don’t have a PDF reader, you can find a concise summary of the regulations HERE.

* ACAS is the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, an independent mediation body in the UK dealing with employment relations.

  1. Sorry the link disappeared, frustrating as the solicitors only sent me the info a few days earlier!

I’ve emailed over what I know at this point with a new link. The solicitors firm are apparently updating the information in light of the Equalities Act 2010.

Thanks for the ACAS links :o)
